The country’s largest power generation company has been working on improving its gender ratio, it said in a press release on Monday.
The company has launched a number of initiatives to attract more women applicants including waiving off application fee at the time of recruitment for women employees.
The company adheres to policies like child care leave with pay, maternity leave, and sabbatical leave. The company also has a special child care leave on adoption of a child/delivering child through surrogacy. The company has also introduced special facilities at work like child care facilities and crèche to make life of mother’s convenient at work.
The company also has special counselling sessions for women employees as well as initiatives to develop leadership/managerial competencies of women employees
